Who I am:

I founded Northern Pacific Advisory because I believe infrastructure is the foundation for how people, goods, and ideas move. It provides access to education, healthcare, employment, and entertainment – and is at the core of a geography’s ability to be prosperous, sustainable, accessible, and equitable.

I have over fifteen years of experience advising leaders across the public and private sectors, where I have helped organizations reimagine how they deliver services, measure outcomes, and invest in long-term performance. I have served clients in the transportation, energy, infra-investing, infra-tech, real estate, and renewables spaces. Prior to founding Northern Pacific Advisory, I led McKinsey's Public Transportation Infrastructure work in North America, serving clients across the infrastructure value chain.

Outside of my professional work, I serve on the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management Alumni Board and Executive Committee and the SPUR Board and Executive Committee, advancing initiatives that strengthen communities and expand access to opportunity.

What I believe:

Personal, trust-based relationships are critical.
I founded Northern Pacific Advisory to focus on a small subset of clients that I could invest in personally, over the long-term. I look to build relationships that are candid, open, and committed to "positive intent" - even when hard things need to be said or conquered together.

Deep work and expertise are at the root of great outcomes.
In a world of fragmentation, I offer focused service at an executive-level; there is no multitasking when I am onsite or working on your problem. I bring the best of what I can offer (at times augmented with exceptional partners or colleagues) after 15 years across state DOTs, utilities, mobility start-ups, PE firms, airports, transit agencies, and beyond.

Data to inform the decision, and passion for the industry, are foundational to the work I do. My recommendations and facilitation approach are based on fact, honest conversations, and shared conviction about making the institutions, individuals, and the world better through our collective efforts in the infrastructure space.
